GHMC Hires Agency To Remove Illegal Hoardings

The GHMC is seeking to demolish 353 hoardings erected in different parts of the city illegally.

Following the GHMC's recent call for tenders for the removal of unauthorised hoardings erected under its limits, a tender has been given to a private agency for the removal of such hoardings.

There are 353 hoardings erected in different places illegally.

According to a press note issued by the corporation, the confiscated unauthorised hoardings would be weighed and the weigh slips certified by the concerned authority.

Reportedly, such hoardings have been found in all the five zones of the GHMC, requiring the agency to perform removal work on a daily basis.
