The Anti-Corruption Bureau, on Monday, filed a chargesheet in the cash-for-bail case of mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy.
The 40-page chargesheet was filed before the ACB court, at Purani Haveli.
The ACB named 8 accused in the case - Janardhan Reddy's brother Gali Somasekhara Reddy, his relative Dasharathama Reddy, Kampli MLA Suresh Babu, suspended judge Pattabhi Rama Rao, his son Ravi Chandra, retired judge Chalapathi Rao, junior advocate Adithya and rowdy-sheeter Yadagari.
All the accused named in the chargesheet have already been arrested by the ACB. They have been charged with bribing the judge to secure bail for Gali Janardhan Reddy, who was arrested in a case of illegal mining by Obulapuram Mining Corporation. (INN)
