Asking Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to start fulfilling his promises, noted balladeer Gaddar said that the people of Telangana were more interested in getting basic facilities than waiting for a "Golden Telangana".
Speaking to media persons at the Telangana Martyrs' Memorial at Gun Park, Gaddar said that no single political party or group could take the credit for the formation of Telangana.
Similarly, he said that the responsibility of the State's development should be shared by everyone, and one or two parties should not be expected to deliver everything.
He said that instead of making tall promises, the politicians should start delivering on their promises.
Gaddar said that people were willing to give some time to KCR to establish himself in the government. However, he said that the people would not hesitate to launch a fresh agitation if the government failed to deliver on its promises. (INN)
