Former Telugu Desam Party MLA Nimmagadda Shiva Ramakrishna Prasad died in the wee hours of Sunday, at a private hospital in Guntur.

Former Telugu Desam Party MLA Nimmagadda Shiva Ramakrishna Prasad died in the wee hours of Sunday, at a private hospital in Guntur.

The former politician was 65, and was undergoing treatment for heart ailment.

He was elected to Macherla Assembly in Guntur district, on a Telugu Desam Party ticket, in 1989.

Nimmagadda Shiva Ramakrishna Prasad was popular for having played an active role in his constituency. He is credited with having taken up many developmental projects in his constituency.

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu condoled his death and expressed his sympathies with the former MLA's family members. (INN)
