AP Medical & Health Services Going From Worse To Worst: TDP
The death of accident victim Ramakrishna in the Atmakur Hospital once again showed the alarming state of the government's health care services, Lokesh said.

TDP leader Nara Lokesh on Wednesday expressed concern over "the steady deterioration and collapse" of all systems under the YSRCP government in the past three years.
He said that the latest tragedy in a government hospital, the death of accident victim Ramakrishna in the Atmakur Hospital in Nellore district, showed the alarming state of the government's health care services.
Lokesh said that the staff at the Atmakur Hospital had played with the life of Ramakrishna, a lecturer.
There was a duty doctor, but the services of a sweeper and a security guard were used to treat the bike accident victim, Lokesh claimed.
He called the death of Ramakrishna a government murder, as it had happened due to the absence of the expected and mandatory services at the hospital.
The government was also totally responsible for the death of Unguturu YSRCP MPP Prasanna Lakshmi in a road accident in Krishna district in the past, Lokesh said. The life of the woman MPP would have been saved if the ambulance to take her to the hospital had arrived in time, but the bad and pot-holed roads did not enable that, and were also causing accidents, he said.
All institutions and systems in the State were witnessing a gradual decline, and the general public was falling prey to the failure of the systems, he lamented.
The TDP MLC recalled how the Chief Minister had spent huge amounts on his publicity advertisements in the media, showcasing himself as a saviour of the people. But in reality the CM was proving to be an agent of death for the innocent people, he said.
