A fire broke out today in a software company's office on the third floor of a multi-storeyed building on Banjara Hills Road No. 12 in the morning.
Upon being informed by the locals, the fire service department rushed to the spot to put out the fires, and rescued two staffers from the flames.
The firefighters faced difficulty as there was not enough space for them to manoeuvre.
Speaking to the media after investigating the scene of the accident, the police officials said that the building had not met any fire safety standards, and did not even have any fire exits built. They suspected that an electrical short circuit may have started the fire.
