Shouvanik Chakravarti was one of the four Indian medalists at the 44th International Physics Olympiad at Denmark.
Shouvanik Chakravarti, a student of FIITJEE Hyderabad, bagged a silver medal in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) this year.
He was one of the four Indian medalists at the 44th IPhO, which was held at Copenhagen, Denmark, from 7 to 15 July this year.
Shouvanik Chakravarti performed exceptionally well in both the JEE Mains and the JEE Advanced. In the JEE Mains he scored 325/360, and in the JEE Advanced, is all-India rank was 58.
He studied in FIITJEE's Pinnacle Program, an integrated 2-year program, and passed out in 2013. He also qualified for the national-level Olympiad in Astronomy.
"I was keen to participate in this Olympiad because this is a [once in a] life-time opportunity to represent the country on an international platform," said Shouvanik.
