The police arrested the two leaders and took them to the Rajampeta and the Kamareddy police stations.
The bandh call led to the closure of business establishments, shops and educational institutions in the district headquarters. The police patrolled in the entire district headquarters in their vehicles and arrested agitators.
Meanwhile, the officials concerned have asked the residents and affected people of the district to submit their objections till the 11th of this month over the masterplan.
Also, 559 affected farmers sent court notices to the concerned officials on the issue. They also collected the signatures of many farmers and sent copies to the Governor, the Principal Secretary of the Municipal Administration & Urban Development department, and the MA & UD minister K T Rama Rao.
For the unversed, KTR has already responded on the issue and asked the officials to prepare the masterplan with the consensus of the people of the district.
