The Telangana government has taken a decision to constitute an exclusive Wakf Board.

According to a press release from the Chief Minister's Office on Saturday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has appointed Minority Welfare Secretary Syed Omar Jaleel as the Board's Competent Authority, and Asadullah as the Board's CEO.
