Hyderabad | 27th January 2015
Dismissed Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on Tuesday suffered a mild heart stroke, and was admitted to a corporate hospital in the evening.

Rajaiah had been complaining of chest pain since Monday morning, and his condition deteriorated on Tuesday evening. He was immediately rushed to the Apollo Hospital at Hyderguda where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

Doctors reportedly told the family members that he was out of danger although he would be kept under observation for the next 24 hours.

Rajaiah's son Kranti told reporters that his father was out of danger, but his BP and sugar levels had shot up.

Rajaiah was sacked from the state cabinet by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday following allegations of corruption and his failure to handle the swine flu situation. He was replaced with Warangal MP Kadiam Srihari. (INN)
