Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etala Rajender on Tuesday condemned the attack on TRS Warangal office by YSR Congress party activists.
Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Rajender demanded that the state government take stern action against the YSRCP activists. Else, he warned that TRS was capable of defending itself. He alleged that YSRCP leaders resorted to a similar attack in Mahabubabad in the past.
Etala said that the TRS was undertaking the Telangana movement in a peaceful manner. He said that the party has always avoided confrontation with other parties and groups. However, he said, anti-Telangana forces were provoking the TRS cadres by several means. He said that the party's silence to such provocation should not be treated as its weakness.
The TRS leader asked the YSRCP, TDP and Congress parties to restrain their cadre from having confrontations with the TRS activists. (INN)
