The Jangaon criminal court in the Warangal district on Monday granted bail to the TDP floor leader in the Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao and his 20 supporters.
The court directed him to furnish two sureties and pay Rs 10,000.
Earlier, the court had remanded Rao to 14-day judicial custody in connection with
a clash between TRS and TDP leaders at Palakurthi on Sunday. The fight between the two parties resulted from a protocol issue during the foundation-laying ceremony of a market godown at Palakurthi. The leaders and workers of the parties resorted to stone-pelting, in which 15 persons were injured.
Dayakar Rao was accused of being the brain behind the violent incident. He spent Sunday night in the Bachannapet police station after the police took him into custody.
On Monday, the police produced Errabelli in the Jangaon court, which remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days. On moving a bail petition immediately, the court granted him bail.
