ED Attaches Former MLC J C Prabhakar Reddy's Properties

The Enforcement Directorate has attached the properties of former MLC and Tadipatri Municipal Chairman J C Prabhakar Reddy in the BS-IV vehicle registration scam.

Officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have attached the properties of former MLC and Tadipatri Municipal Chairman J C Prabhakar Reddy in connection with the BS-IV vehicle registration scam.

In a statement, the ED officials said that they were attaching the properties of companies Diwakar Road Lines, Rutadhara Industries, and C Gopal Reddy & Co owned by a follower of Gopal Reddy, who is a prominent follower of Prabhakar Reddy.

The ED officials said that they had attached properties worth Rs 22.1 crore.

They said that they had found irregularities to the tune of Rs 38.36 crore in the purchase of BS-IV vehicles from Ashok Leyland.

The vehicles were registered in Nagaland, Karnataka and AP.
