EAMCET To Cover B. Sc. Forestry Admissions, Too
Starting from 2018-19, admissions to the B. Sc. Forestry course at the Forest College and Research Institute, Mulugu, will also be through EAMCET.

The Telangana government today made some amendments to the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
Starting from the next academic year, admissions to the B. Sc. Forestry course at the Forest College and Research Institute, Mulugu, will also be done through the test.
To be eligible for the 4-year B. Sc. Forestry course, candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year intermediate examination or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education. Further, candidates should have BPC or MBPC as their Intermediate subjects.
In addition, general category students can be at most 17 years of age, BCs can be up to 22 years and SCs/STs can be upto 25 years as on December 31 of the previous year to be able to take the test.
Also, candidates seeking admission into the B. Sc. Forestry course should take the Biology, Physics and Chemistry papers in EAMCET.
