T-JAC Compares Seemandhra Leaders With British

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman M Kodandaram, on Wednesday, called upon the people of Telangana to make the Telangana March scheduled on September 30 a grand success.

Talking to media persons after hoisting the national flag to mark Independence Day celebrations at the JAC office at MLA quarters, Kodandaram said that the Telangana leaders must derive inspiration from the struggle for Indian independence. He said that the Telangana agitation should continue, and that the activists should wage a battle against the Centre until it announces a decision in favour of separate statehood.

"The agitation will be intensified until the Telangana region is freed from Seemandhra rulers," he said. The statehood agitation would remind the Telangana people of the freedom struggle against the British rulers, he said. (INN)
