Sack DL, Ramchandraiah: Cong MLAs

Alleging that ministers Dr D L Ravindra Reddy and C Ramchandraiah were acting as the agents of the YSR Congress party, Kamalapuram MLA G Veerasiva Reddy and former MLA Varadarajulu Reddy demanded that the ministers be dropped immediately from the cabinet. All these leaders hail from Kadapa district.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises here on Wednesday, Veerasiva Reddy alleged that both the ministers have not only opposed Congress candidates in the Cooperative elections, but ensured their defeat by having a secret pact with the YSRCP. He alleged that former MP Dr M V Mysoora Reddy, now with YSRCP, used the ministers to defeat the official candidates of Congress party.

Stating that he would lodge a complaint with the Congress High Command, Veerasiva Reddy asked the Chief Minister to sack both the ministers besides initiating a probe into the assets of Ravindra Reddy, which he claimed were worth than Rs. 2,000 crores.

However, Health Minister Ravindra Reddy denied the allegations and claimed that he had kept himself away from the cooperative elections. (INN)
