Dismiss CM, Order CBI probe: KTR

MLA K Tarakarama Rao demands a CBI enquiry into the allegations on him by ex-DGP V Dinesh Reddy.
Hyderabad | 8th October 2013
Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K Tarakarama Rao on Tuesday demanded the immediate dismissal of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy from his post, and a CBI enquiry into the allegations levelled against him by former DGP V Dinesh Reddy.

Speaking to media persons here, KTR said, "The ex-DGP's allegations should be taken very seriously, and an enquiry should be ordered through CBI to find out the truth."

He alleged that the CM's brother Santosh Reddy and his close aide Amrender Reddy were involved in grabbing a prime land of about 4 acres in Nandagiri Hills in the city. He said, "The CM is backing the land-grabbing and settlement activities of his brother, as alleged by Dinesh Reddy."

KTR said that the CM's camp office has turned into an epicentre of "anti-Telangana activities". He said that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has already described Kiran as the convener of the Samaikyandhra JAC, and that today, Dinesh Reddy has only confirmed these remarks.

The TRS MLA has appealed to all IAS and IPS officials to expose the irregularities committed by Kiran Kumar Reddy. Stating that the officials who had supported Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's irregularities are now in jail, he said, "The officials should expose Kiran Kumar Reddy to save themselves from facing such a situation in future."

KCR also condemned Kiran Kumar Reddy for sanctioning a Rs. 6,000 crore project for Chittoor district without taking necessary approvals from the State Assembly, the Cabinet or the Finance department. (INN)
