Diehard KCR Fan Gunda Ravinder Shuts His KCR Temple

Ardent fan of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Gunda Ravinder, shut down the temple he had built in honour of the CM, located in Dandepalle village, in Mancherial district.

He reportedly covered the idol of the CM housed in the temple with a piece of cloth to protest against the treatment meted out to him by the TRS' leadership in the district.

Ravinder also locked up the temple premises in a show of protest.

His decision has left the entire district shocked.

The closure of the temple follows the KCR fan's resignation from his post in the TRS - he had reportedly put in his papers just a couple of days back, alleging that he was being insulted by fellow party members despite having put in years of dedicated work for the development of the TRS in Mancherial.

Ravinder also alleged that the real activists of the Telangana agitation were not getting due recognition within the party, and that only "traitors", who were betraying the party and the state, were being honoured.

The diehard KCR fan, an active TRS member since its inception, had built the temple as an expression of his love towards the CM in 2016, and inaugurated the building on the CM's birthday.

He had previously also served as the official mandal spokesman of the TRS, and had even received the merit certificate for ‘Best Activist of A Public Movement’ at a Republic Day program held in Adilabad from the district Collector.

Despite his dedication to the CM and the TRS, Ravinder was also upset because he claimed that he was unable to get an appointment with the CM on several occasions.
