Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanty called on TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu at the latter's residence at Jubilee Hills on Thursday.
During his meeting with the Chief-Minister-in-waiting of Andhra Pradesh, Dr Mohanty gave a presentation on the ongoing process of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
He also submitted a report compiled by the committee of 22 IAS officers.
He gave the details of the distribution of assets, liabilities and employees between Telangana and the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
The allocation of IAS and IPS officers, and government buildings including the State Secretariat, also figured in the meeting, which was attended by many senior IAS officers.
The appointment of a new Chief Secretary for Andhra Pradesh was also discussed in the meeting.
It may be mentioned that Dr Mohanty will be laying down office on June 1, a day before the Appointed Day when the Telangana State will come into existence. (INN)
