Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanty on Friday issued the final orders for the allocation of blocks for Telangana and the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh in the Secretariat at Hyderabad.
While the H-South, H-North, J, K and L Blocks have been allocated to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the A, B, C and D blocks have been allocated to Telangana.
The Chief Minister of Telangana will have his chambers on the 6th floor of the C Block, while the Chief Secretary's chambers will be on the 3rd floor.
The 8th floor of the L Block will house the office of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The renovation works on the floor are almost complete.
Earlier, the H-South Block was earmarked for the Andhra Pradesh CM. However, TDP President Nara Chandrababu Naidu rejected the space citing Vaastu problems. Therefore, his chamber was then shifted to the L Block. (INN)
