Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanty on Tuesday informed that a meeting would be held on May 29 to review the process of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, Mohanty said that the bifurcation process was on track although the distribution of employees between the 2 States would take another month.
He said that the status report on the bifurcation process would be sent to the Union Home Ministry after the review meeting on May 29.
Similarly, the distribution of officials of the All-India Services on the basis of the Pratyusha Singh Committee's recommendations would only be done after the approval of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (INN)
