CPI-M's B V Raghavulu said that the party has always been against the division of AP, and so would offer no response to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana.
The State-unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Sunday reiterated that it was against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
CPI-M State Secretary B V Raghavulu told reporters that in response to the letter sent by Ministry of Home Affairs Joint Secretary Suresh Kumar seeking the party's opinion on the bifurcation issue, the party has made it clear that it was against the division of Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the CPI-M had made its stand clear on earlier occasions, and stood by it.
Therefore, he said that the party would offer no response to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana. (INN)
