CPI Writes To Centre About Telangana Issue

CPI state secretary Narayana questions the sincerity of the Centre in solving the Telangana imbroglio.
Hyderabad | 29th December 2012
CPI state secretary Narayana has questioned the sincerity of the Centre in solving the Telangana imbroglio.

In a letter addressed to the Union Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, the CPI said, "Why did the Centre not issue a press release stating that it would come up with a solution within one month?"

The Centre being silent on the issue is raising many doubts among the people, he said, adding that there are many apprehensions as well.

"I demand that the Telangana issue be resolved within one month," he said in the letter.

"If the decision is otherwise, the Congress will be in deep trouble," he said, adding that all parties have largely shown an inclination towards a separate state. (INN)
