BRS working president K T Rama Rao today said that party chief K Chandrashekar Rao would attend the upcoming Assembly session.
He said that KCR would witness the Governor's address on Wednesday and would also participate in the budget speech session.
Dasoju Sravan of the BRS filed his nomination papers today as an MLC candidate for one of the seats from the MLA quota. KTR attended the event and participated in an informal interaction with the media.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said KCR would attend the upcoming Assembly session. "Later, KCR will also attend some programs. But as a son, I feel that KCR should not attend the Assembly sessions. No one in the Congress matches KCR's level. KCR should not have to come to listen to their crazy allegations, useless abuses and cries," he said.
For the unversed, KCR hasn't attended the Assembly sessions since his party lost power in December 2023.
KTR pointed out that KCR had nominated Sravan for an MLC seat in 2023, but that the BJP had deliberately blocked his nomination.
"If Sravan had left the BRS, he would have already entered the State legislature. But he continued in the BRS with faith in us, and he is being rewarded for that," he said, and criticised CM Revanth Reddy for not keeping his own word in Delhi.
KTR also alleged that Revanth Reddy was making a lot of money by misusing his position, and that he was earning well. He also asked why there was no full-fledged cabinet although it had been 16 months since the Congress came to power in the State.
