Telangana IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao today said that the TS BPass policy would be launched soon.
Inaugurating the CREDAI Exhibition at HICC, KTR said that the aim of the government was to provide corruption-free services, and that the policy, to be implemented on the lines of TSiPass, would ensure that all necessary permissions were given to builders in a timely fashion without needing to bribe government employees.
He also exhorted builders and real estate professionals to invest outside Hyderabad and in other cities nearby. The state government would provide permissions, infrastructure and facilities to push companies to set up businesses in second rung cities, he said. The municipal department had allotted Rs 2,500 crore for infrastructure and facilities in these cities, he said.
The minister also announced the launching of metro rail services from JBS and CBS in 10 days. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would inaugurate them, he said.
KTR also pointed out that Hyderabad had surpassed 130 other cities to become No 1 in the JLL ratings, focusing on real estate, for 2020, even though it was not even in the top 20 cities in 2014, and said that the new policies would see the city cement its position there for several years.
