CM Deceiving People About A Fourth City: KTR

BRS working president K T Rama Rao today said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was deceiving the people with falsehoods about the development of a "fourth city" in Hyderabad.

Speaking after attending the Dasara Sammelan Alai Balai program organised by former Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy, he said that Reddy was claiming outside that the Pharma City had been abolished, but was stating before the court that there was indeed a Pharma City in Telangana.

"It should be understood from what they have told the court that this is a corrupt government. As per the law, the land acquired for the Pharma City cannot be used for any other purpose. And not even an inch of land has been acquired for the Fourth City. If the Pharma City is cancelled, how will Revanth Reddy build the Fourth City?" KTR asked.

He said that former CM K Chandrashekar Rao had worked hard to build a "green" Pharma City without pollution, and that for eight years the BRS government had worked hard to convince the farmers and acquired 14,000 acres of land for the project. However, Revanth Reddy and State ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Seethakka then started spreading false propaganda that the farmers' lands had been grabbed in the name of the Pharma City, and promised to return the acquired lands to the farmers after coming into power.

He demanded that the CM either build the Pharma City or return the acquired lands to the farmers as promised. He warned that the BRS would not keep silent if the CM failed to fulfill his promise of returning the lands to the farmers, and that if the BRS didn't get justice in the High Court in the case of the Pharma City, it would go to the Supreme Court, and also explain to the people about Reddy's frauds by touring every "gully" of the State.

He also alleged that the Fourth City was brought to the fore for CM Revanth Reddy and his four brothers, to help their real estate businesses.
