Though Telangana JAC chairman M Kodandaram had stated that the proposed rally of unemployed youth will be held as scheduled at Indira Park, the Hyderabad police officials today met some of the TJAC leaders and suggested alternative venues for the same.
It may be mentioned here that the TJAC had decided to organize a rally of unemployed youth at Indira Park on Tuesday in protest against the State government's "nonchalant" attitude to filling the vacant government jobs.
The police officials asked the TJAC leaders to organize their rally at other places and not at Indira Park. They suggested to the leaders that the latter choose from among the N S Convention Grounds at Shamshabad, the Metro Rail Ground at Nagole, or the grounds at Cheryal village, Gandipet, Miyapur or Abdullapurmet.
After listening to the police, the TJAC leaders said that they would discuss with other leaders of the committee and take a decision.
