Connect All AP Districts To Amaravathi: Naidu
The AP government, which is on the fast track to develop the capital city, is now focusing on connecting the city to all districts in the State.

The Andhra Pradesh government, which is on the fast track to develop the capital city of Amaravathi, is now focusing on connecting the city to all districts and their constituencies in the State.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a high-level review meeting Minister P Narayana, Chief Secretary to Government S P Tucker, Special Chief Secretary B Sam Bob, CMD/Amaravathi Development Corporation Lakshmi Pardhasaradhi, Special Chief Secretary to CM Satish Chandra, Principal Secretary to the CM Sai Prasad, Principal Secretary Ajay Jain, CRDA Commissioner Sridhar Cherukuri and others.
He directed them to develop the road infrastructure necessary to ensure that it took less than 5 hours to travel from the capital to any village or town or city in AP.
Even villagers living in the most remote place in the State should have easy access to Amaravathi, Naidu directed. He also asked them to focus on laying the Anantapur-Amaravati Greenfield Expressway which connected Rayalaseema to the capital city. Connectivity between the capital and rest of the State played a pre-dominant role in the latter's economic growth.
Later, Sam Bob informed that the proposed 600 km of Amaravathi-Anantapur Express Highway was envisioned to be developed as a Greenfield Access Controlled Expressway in a 6/4 lane configuration, with an investment of around Rs. 29,000 crores.
