The Whips also submitted press clippings and video footage to the Deputy Speaker as evidence of the anti-party activities of the legislators.
Speaking to media persons outside the Deputy Speaker's chambers, the 2 whips disclosed that Manohar had assured them that he would take action against the members after scrutinizing the evidence.
When the media questioned as to why no action was sought against former ministers Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose and Balineni Srinivas, who had been participating openly in the conferences of YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the 2 whips said that the Congress will initiate action against them at an appropriate time.
Earlier, the whips had held intense deliberations with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on the suspension of the 4 members from the House. These deliberations are believed to have gone on for more than 6 hours. (INN)
