The Congress is likely to sack MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from the party for his anti-party comments.
It is learnt that the state in-charge of the party and MP Manickam Tagore is holding discussions with party leaders from the undivided Nalgonda district on the issue.
The leaders said that the high command was likely to issue the suspension orders of Reddy from the party soon.
It has also been learnt that the suspension orders would be issued without any showcause notice to the MLA.
The TPCC has also reportedly decided to seek the disqualification of Reddy from the MLA post from the Speaker of the Assembly following his suspension.
The party leaders are reportedly angry at the comments of the MLA that the BJP was the only alternative to the TRS. An AICC leader had said that the party had given several opportunities to Reddy and his family members despite his anti-party comments in the past, but that it had now finally run out of patience.
