Lashing out at the Telangana government for abolishing the Zonal System, senior State Congress leader and former MP Ponnam Prabhakar said that his Party would meet the President of India on the issue.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Prabhakar said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who previously opposed the free-zone system during the Telangana movement, shouldn't have had banned the zonal system.
He opined that rural students and job aspirants would be affected severely due to the abolition of the system and hence the Party would call on the President for justice.
