AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Monday said that the Congress party would announce its candidates for the Medak Lok Sabha by-elections on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons after the end of the Congress party's 2-day workshop at Sri Indu Engineering College at Ibrahimpatnam, Digvijay Singh said that the Congress party would field a strong candidate for the Medak by-polls, and the name would be announced on Tuesday.
Earlier, while addressing the workshop, he exhorted the workers to campaign vigorously for the Medak by-polls.
He insisted that all MPs, MLAs and MLCs should be put in charge of divisions or wards in the Medak constituency, and that the entire Telangana Congress should take it as a challenge to win the Medak seat.

He said that nearly 470 party workers expressed their views while participating in 10 group discussions held on Sunday.
He said that the feedback of the workers has been incorporated into the party's strategy to be adopted in the future.
