VHR's vehicle was stopped by the Samaikhyandhra activists at Alipiri while he was returning along with his family members after a darshan of Lord Balaji.

Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao faced the ire of Samaikyandhra activists in Tirumala here on Saturday.

VHR's vehicle was stopped by the Samaikhyandhra activists at Alipiri while he was returning along with his family members after having a darshan of Lord Balaji.

Raising "Jai Samaikyandhra" slogans, the activists squatted on the road preventing VHR's vehicle from moving forward. Police had to resort to mild lathicharge to disperse the mob.

A few activists also allegedly hurled chappals and stones at his vehicle. However, police enhanced VHR's security and safely shifted him to Renigunta. (INN)
