Congress Member Of Legislative Council Yadav Reddy on Thursday lashed out against Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhar Rao for trying to sow doubts in the minds of people by predicting that both the central and state governments would collapse.
Talking to media persons at CLP media point, Yadav Reddy said that the statement was nothing but an attempt to mislead people. He criticized the TRS chief for attempting to create unrest among people and expressed confidence in the government's ability to survive by saying that the Congress was ready to face any hardship.
Yadav Reddy expressed his bewilderment at the self-driven ability of KCR to make prophecies.
Yadav Reddy also described the statement purportedly made by Union Minister Of State Pallam Raju as 'unfortunate' who said that it was not proper on the part of the state government to lift cases against students who had resorted to vandalism.
He said that if this was indeed Pallam Raju's point of view, he was not fit to be a member of the union cabinet. The MLC added that the state government had lifted the cases against students only after consulting the Union Home Ministry Secretary.
