Congress May Boycott April 30 Assembly Session
The party claimed that the TRS had conducted its Warangal meeting only to curse the Congress, with KCR even calling its leaders "daddammalu" and "chavatalu".
Saying that it seemed the TRS had conducted its Warangal public meeting only to curse the Congress, with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao going so far as to call the Congress leaders "daddammalu" and "chavatalu", Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy today said that his party was mulling over whether to attend the special Assembly session to be held on April 30.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Ponguleti said that the Congress was behaving maturely and politely by praising the Chief Minister whenever he did anything good. Demanding the same courtesy in return, Ponguleti asked KCR to withdraw his remarks against the Congress, else face a boycott of the session.
Ponguleti also demanded that the state government order a comprehensive inquiry into the alleged looting in the name of Bahubali 2.
