TRS Flays Congress' Education Policies

TRS floor leader Etela Rajender accuses the Congress of having devised an educational policy that renders education costly and inaccessible to the common man.
Hyderabad | 3rd June 2013
The Telagnana Rashtra Samithi has criticized the state government for its education policy, since (according to the TRS), "the policy entails an education system that has become quite expensive, and is out of reach to the common man."

To this end, TRS has demanded a white paper on the issue.

Accusing Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of demolishing the education structure in the state, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender said, "Education has become very costly due to the wrong policies of the government, and it should release a white paper on the issue."

"Instead of regulating corporate educational institutions, the government is being indifferent, and is taking no action, as families are being forced to sell their ornaments for their kin's education," he said.

"The system has rotted, and the government should take appropriate actions to regulate it," Etela said.(INN)
