Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi today asserted that his party would not have any alliance with the TRS in Telangana.
Speaking to the media at Kothur of Timmapur mandal in Ranga Reddy district, he said that he welcomed the decision of the State unit of the party to not have any kind of alliance with the ruling party, and that the Congress would contest the next Assembly elections in Telangana on its own.
Gandhi also made sardonic comments against the Telangana CM.
"If KCR believes that he is running an international party too, we have no problem - let him contest in the USA, China and UK elections," Gandhi said.
Targeting the BJP and the TRS, he alleged that the two parties were looting public money, and were thus able to spend hundreds of crores in the Munugodu by-election campaign. He asked the two parties from where they got that kind of money.
He also said that the next general elections would be between the divisive forces and the unifying forces of the country.
