Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today said his government is strong enough to face a no-confidence motion in the state Assembly, thereby challenging the Opposition to move one.
The CM made this statement in response to Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu's
challenge to YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, to move a no-confidence motion against the Congress regime. Naidu had said that in the event of such a motion, the TDP would vote against the Congress.
Kiran Kumar Reddy said he pitied Chandrababu Naidu for talking about a no-confidence motion, and expressed confidence that the Congress would continue to be in power for the next 3 years and also win the 2014 elections.
Meanwhile, the CM, who is on a 2-day trip to Chittoor, dropped hints that there would be changes in the government and the party soon.
