Cong Govt Should Prove Majority: TDP

"With nine MLAs suspended, the government is reduced to a minority and should prove its majority in front of the Governor," said TDP MP T Devender Goud.
Hyderabad | 2nd February 2013
TDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP T Devender Goud demanded that the government prove its majority before the Governor.

"With nine MLAs suspended, the government is reduced to a minority and should prove its majority in front of the Governor," he said. He did not give credence to other parties asking TDP to move a no confidence motion.

"We need not take the advice from others on this issue," he said in an obvious reference to YSRCP's demand that TDP issue a no confidence motion. (INN)
