A complaint was filed with the Telangana State Human Rights Commission against Tollywood actor Viswak Senfor for playing a prank and posting the video on a YouTube channel.
The complaint was filed by High Court advocate Arun Kumar.
In his complaint, Kumar alleged that the actor had shot the video to promote his upcoming movie, and urged the commission to take action against the actor.
The advocate said that such pranks acts by actors and celebrities would have a terrible impact on the psyche of the people of the State, and that he had urged the commission to issue directions for the removal of all prank videos from the YouTube channel.
Kumar also urged the commission to issue directions to the State police to not allow the promotion of movies in public places.
The upcoming movie of Viswak Sen, Asoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam, is releasing on May 6. The makers shot the prank video in a public place in the city as part of the promotions for the movie.
