"He seems to be scared of going to polls. If he has the confidence, he should disqualify rebellious MLAs, thus paving the way for fresh elections," said TRS Leader K Tarakarama Rao.
TRS leader K Taraka Rama Rao on Sunday accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of being "scared" of by-elections.
"He seems to be scared of going to polls. If he has the confidence, he should take action against rebel MLAs, and disqualify them, thus paving the way for fresh elections," he said. We demand that the MLAs who defied the whip should be disqualified immediately, and that Congress face the by-elections, he said.
"The Chief Minister said that we [TRS party members] are scared of local bodies elections, but it is he who is afraid of going to the people" he said. KTR was speaking at Telangana Bhavan at a function organized to mark the first anniversary of the AIDS Controller Counsellors Union. (INN)
