Chief Minister K Rosaiah, on Wednesday, called upon all sections of people to participate in the Ganesh immersion procession irrespective of religion and caste.
Talking to media persons after performing a special puja to the mammoth Ganesh idol installed at Khairatabad, Rosaiah asked people to maintain peace and restraint during the procession.
The Chief Minister also appealed to people to maintain harmony in the aftermath of the Babri Masjid title suit verdict that the Allahabad High Court is expected to deliver on September 24th.
Along with the Chief Minister, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Health and Family Welfare Minister Danam Nagender, Backward Classes Welfare Minister B Mukesh Goud, Information Technology Minister Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy and others also offered special puja to the Ganesh idol, on the final day of the immersion.
