KCR, Other VIPs Cast Their Votes In Elections

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his wife Shobha exercised their franchises at Chinthamadaka village in Siddipet constituency on Thursday.

The Chief Minister flew in on a helicopter from Hyderabad and cast his vote in his native village.

Other voters, who were waiting in queue, greeted him while he was walking into the polling booth. Finance Minister T Harish Rao, who is the BRS candidate from Siddipet, also accompanied KCR on the occasion.

Meanwhile, minister K T Rama Rao and his wife exercised their franchises at a polling booth in Nandi Nagar, Banjara Hills, while BRS MLC Kavitha cast her vote at B S DAV Public School, Banjara Hills, in Hyderabad.

Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari cast her vote at Prashasan Nagar in Jubilee Hills, and DGP Anjani Kumar and his family cast their votes at the GHMC Sports Complex in Amberpet.

Several film stars, including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, and many other VIPs exercised their franchises in their respective areas in Hyderabad.

The voting in Hyderabad was merely 48%, despite the holiday declared.
