BRS working president K T Rama Rao today expressed strong discontent over the awarding of the Narayanapet-Kodangal lift irrigation project to Megha Engineering and Raghava Constructions.
He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of engaging in significant corruption through these lift irrigation projects.
"How can Megha and Raghava be awarded the contract after quoting higher prices than companies like L&T and NCC?" KTR asked the Congress government.
He added that Megha Engineering, which he claimed was the company responsible for the Sunkishala accident, should have been blacklisted, but instead the project was awarded to it.
KTR lamented that Telangana was being used as an ATM to fill the Congress' treasury, and vowed to continue exposing the corruption of the Congress government.
