Additional DG CID Krishna Prasad today said that they would need more time to complete the investigation on the arrest of dalit MLA P Shankar Rao in the Green Fields land scam.

Additional DG CID Krishna Prasad today said that they would need more time to complete the investigation on the controversial arrest of dalit MLA P Shankar Rao in the Green Fields land scam.

In a statement to the press made outside Care Hospital where the MLA is currently recovering after having collapsed during interrogation, Krishna Prasad said, "We are willing to take this case forward with a lot of patience so that all parties involved will be comfortable with the proceedings."

It maybe mentioned that Shankar Rao was arrested on the 31st of January based on accusations of having forged documents and claiming ownership of 875 plots in Green Fields Colony.
