Chiranjeevi Faces Ire Of Samaikyandhra Students

The students demanded that Chiranjeevi resign from his post before visiting the flood affected areas.
Hyderabad | 29th October 2013
Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi faced the ire of pro-united Andhra Pradesh students during his recent visit to the flood affected areas of Srikakulam district on Tuesday.

While Chiranjeevi was at the GMR Varalakshmi Care Hospital in Rajam town, a group of students of the GMR IT College pelted stones on his car, raising Samaikhyandhra slogans.

They demanded that Chiranjeevi resign from his post before visiting the flood affected areas.

However, the local police immediately swung action, and prevented them from blocking the minister's convoy.

To avoid further trouble, Chiranjeevi left the venue immediately. (INN)
