CM Grants Rs. 10 Crores For Tourism
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has agreed to allocate Rs. 10 crores to the state's tourism industry, in addition to the Rs. 54 crores already sanctioned to the industry in the 2011-12 state budget.

This decision was reportedly taken by the CM to boost the employment rate among the youth of the state, and to capitalize on the country's ascending tourism status.
According to sources, the tourism industry intends to develop infrastructual and other facilities for tourists at 100km intervals along state and national highways. Senior officials were directed to clear Rs. 7.5 crores as incentives to the investors of tourism projects.
This decision was taken at a meeting convened by the CM with tourism ministers. Emerging from the meeting, Tourism Minister Vatti Vasant Kumar informed the media that KKR had also decided to develop 150 acres of land in the Nagarjuna Sagar region into a theme park.
Those gathered had also reportedly decided to launch a series of theme parks across the state.
It has also been reported that Kiran Kumar Reddy will inaugurate an LED illumination at Charminar, Salarjung Museum and the state Assembly, in the month of June.
