Chief Justice of India Justice N V Ramana offered prayers along with his family this morning in the Tirumala temple.
On his arrival at the temple's Maha Dwaram, he was welcomed with the traditional Isthikaphal and received by TTD Chairman Y V Subba Reddy, EO Dr K S Jawahar Reddy and Additional EO A V Dharma Reddy.
After the darshan, he was offered the Vedaseervachanam and the Theertha Prasadams, as also the recently released book Anjanadri - Hanuman Janmasthalam by the Chairman and EO.
Speaking to media persons later, the CJI said that it was great to know that Sarva Darsan had resumed for pilgrims almost a gap of almost two years.
"I prayed Sri Venkateswara Swamy to save the world from Covid and ensure that such diseases never recur in future again," he added.
He also appreciated the recent initiatives taken by the TTD including beautification of the Tirumala environs and enhancing the hygiene on the hill.
Later he also had a darsan of Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy, and offered prayers at Akhilandam too, along with his family.
Local legislator B Karunakar Reddy, CVSO Gopinath Jatti, DyEOs Harindranath and Lokanatham, VGO Bali Reddy and others were also present.
