Naidu's Presence Led To Praja Kutami Loss: CPI
CPI leader K Narayana alleged that the TDP president was one of the reasons for the humiliating defeat of the Praja Kutami in the Telangana elections.

CPI national leader K Narayana on Wednesday said that TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was one of the reasons for the humiliating defeat of the Praja Kutami (a much-ballyhooed alliance of the Congress, the TDP, the TJS and the CPI that won just 21 of the 119 Assembly seats) in the just-concluded Telangana Assembly elections.
Addressing media persons, Narayana also said that almost all the families in the state had received benefits in one form or the other from the KCR government, and added that the grand alliance had failed to gauge the mood and the pulse of the people of Telangana accurately.
Commenting on the defeat of the BJP, he said that the saffron party had begun to face tough situations all over the country. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going on telling lies to the people of the country and was doing nothing to address their issues, and that he (Modi) was helping only his corporate friends.
