He then pointed out that the farmers of the capital city of the state, Amaravathi, too had been on a protest program for the last 700 days for the protection of the capital, and said that the state government should withdraw its controversial decision to establish three capitals for Andhra Pradesh.

He said that the development of Amaravathi would ensure the availability of abundant funds for the development of all the 13 districts of the state.
